"The name of the board comes from the Russian word Kiska, for cat, in memory of my mom, Elena Hill, who passed away from breast cancer, who was born in Russia. She was very worried about me when I got into downhill longboarding, yet she was still very supportive." A portion of the funds from each board sale will go towards the Canadian Cancer Society.

"My favourite thing about my board is how insanely light it is. The weight of it has really helped me out with my race starts, helping me push faster than I’ve been able to in the past. I’ve even been able to keep up better in my open heats, off the race starts, with the lighter board."
