Coming from Saskatoon, SK, it was an odd place to learn how to ride fast, and how to get to the level of being even remotely competitive. I have to give big thanks where they are deserved; starting with all the SLUG homies - Oshoowa Doorn, Zach Onda, Namca Nguyen, Nathan Boseman, Sully Sulv, Evan Yaworski and to all the Prairie homies, Sean Young, Alex Hannigan,

Brandon Millichamp, and Spencer Hildebrandt.

PARKtek boards are great to ride because they are made by riders, for riders. They are designed with Canadian riding in mind.

Whether it’s taking them to the corner store, or taking them 100km into a corner, you can be sure that they will get you there, and perform well while doing it.

My favourite PARKtek board is split between the Poutine, and the Major Tom. The Poutine just feels so good under your feet. Side to side movement doesn't need to happen because of the taper, and you can always know where your feet are going to end up, because they never need to move. The Major Tom just feels right. It sits nice and low while you commute, and it keeps your feet locked in while initiating a slide. It's just a sick board.
