I’m born and raised in Calgary, AB. I love to ride pathways, but my main passion is riding fast on roads (open or closed), and competing for the lead position within the pack.

 

I learned to ride a skateboard before I picked up longboarding. I skateboarded for 5 years in middle and high school before taking a break when I started university. I really got into longboarding around 2012 and haven't looked back since. I love longboarding because, IT’S FAST!!!! I started to crave longboard rides after my first real fast experience - night laps down Scarborough. I knew this was the sport for me because it scared the pants off me and I knew then that I wouldn’t be bored  anytime soon. To this day, I still have that feeling - there is always something new to learn, and always someone faster than you.

I ride PARKtek boards because we work to continually improve on our models. Each year we take feedback from our riders, and customers, and use it to make a better product. I was never really a fan of buying boards from large companies. They seemed to lack stoke and passion in their design. Cookie cutter boards with cookie cutter graphics. PARKtek boards are made by people who love to ride, period. They're made with passion, and I feel the stoke in the end product.

My favourite board is the SSB (Super Sonic Blast). It’s not only my favourite board for downhill, but it is super predictable when in a slide making it great for slide jams.
